We Support Not-for-Profit Organizations

Skills Council of Canada supports not-for-profit (NFP) organizations and join them in their mission to improve the lives of those they serve.
A not-for-profit is a nonprofit organization, also known as a non-business entity, not-for-profit organization, or nonprofit institution, is a legal entity organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit, in contrast with an entity that operates as a business aiming to generate a profit for its owners."

How We Support Not-for-Profits

Skills Council of Canada has the capabilities, experience, and passion to support NFP organizations by providing them with access to our system, programs, and resources. We work with organizations who have limited budgets and need support to achieve their social impact mandates.

Skills Development

We provide the skills development technology, libraries of content, expertise, and overall career management tools to help organizations support their communities in becoming job ready.

Business Support

We provide support with strategic planning, project management, and market presence to help a NFP organization drive awareness and increase their social impact.

Funding Support

We help NFP organizations develop their plans and proposals to support their social impact efforts, and application for funding.

Increased success

Collaboration ensures learners are supported and successful throughout their learning journey.

Increased opportunities

Working together to create meaningful learning, skills development, and employment opportunities.

Stronger communities

Helping communities expand economic opportunity, learn new skills, and address areas of critical need like mental health and education.
